The Serene Step Walk-In Bath combines the familiar comfort of a full-size bath with a low-level access door, providing an easier way to bathe for elderly users and anyone with reduced mobility.
Measuring approximately 1700 x 750mm, it has similar proportions to a conventional bath, making it a practical choice when creating an accessible or easy access bathroom without introducing the appearance of a specialist upright bathing unit.
The solid access door opens inwards and incorporates a simple locking mechanism for straightforward entry and exit. A low step-in threshold reduces the height that needs to be negotiated when getting into the bath, while the slip-resistant base provides additional reassurance underfoot.
Left and right-hand door options are available, allowing the bath to suit different bathroom layouts and installation requirements.
The double-ended design provides a comfortable bathing area with a generous 200 litre unoccupied water capacity, making the Serene Step suitable for accessible family bathrooms as well as bathrooms designed specifically around mobility requirements.
The bath is supplied in white complete with front and end panels and a single waste.
Optional hydrotherapy spa and chromotherapy lighting systems are also available for added comfort and relaxation.
Overall dimensions are approximately 1698 x 750 x 550mm, with an internal depth of 385mm. The entry threshold measures approximately 160mm to the upper lip and 110mm to the inner step.
Optional Hydrotherapy Spa System: For an added level of comfort, the Serene Step can be specified with a 12-jet hydrotherapy spa system. The system uses strategically positioned air jets with four speed settings to create a gentle bubbling massage effect throughout the bath, making it ideal for relaxing at the end of the day.
Optional Chromotherapy Lighting:An underwater chromotherapy LED light can also be added to create a more relaxing bathing atmosphere. The system offers a choice of seven colours, along with a gradual fading sequence that cycles through the colour range for a softer ambient effect.
