Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order alternatively if you would rather places your order via the telephone 01722 415000

Shipping And Handling

Shipping and handling charges are for UK mainland only (excluding the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland) and will be automatically calculated within the sales price when you place your order, if you require a breakdown of these costs please contact the sales office. We have a policy of shipping at cost.

For Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, none mainland and international deliveries carriage is quoted on application and on an order by order basis. Please contact sales on 01722 415000 for quotation.

Delivery Schedule

Please check prior to any order if products are in stock as Livinghouse will always advise realistic lead times based on specific product enquiries. We endeavour to dispatch stock items within 5 working days of cleared funds, (These delivery times wil be extended over holiday and Christmas periods). Non stock items delivery times will be quoted by return. In both cases all orders will be confirmed by return.

Please inspect all goods thoroughly upon delivery before signing, checking for any signs of damage including to the packaging. If you are unfortunate enough to receive damaged or missing items, ensure it is noted on the couriers paperwork and inform us in writing (via post or e-mail) within 3 working days of delivery. We cannot accept liability for damaged or missing items if you do not inform us in writing within 3 working days.

Living House do our upmost to avoid any damage by choosing the best couriers available, however some goods are sent direct from the manufacturer; which means we have no jurisdiction over the method or timing of the delivery.

You will be responsible for the goods once they have been delivered to your delivery address, any damage or loss incurred after delivery you will be liable for.

Due to insurance guidelines it is not our responsibility to take goods into your home or install them We are only required to deliver the goods to your delivery address. Pallet deliveries are on a kerbside service only. If your order consists of heavy and/or bulky items please ensure that assistance is available at the time of delivery, if you are unable to assist the driver please inform us in advance so that we can arrange for a porter to be available, which can be supplied at an extra delivery cost.

Deliveries will be made to the closest accessible point only, drivers are not insured to take their vehicles on roads other than public highways. Please inform us at the earliest opportunity of any unusual circumstances regarding access to your delivery address.

Most large or fragile orders will are delivered via pallet service. These deliveries are usually pre-booked with the client for an agreed date. In the event of a failed delivery due to the customer being unavailable on the agreed date, we will contact you to re-book the delivery and you will be required to pay the re-delivery charges.

Many deliveries are delivered via large vans and lorries, please advise on any access restrictions for larger vehicles at time of order so we can arrange a suitable vehicle.
Any failed deliveries due to lack of access which Livinghouse has not been made aware of prior to delivery may incur re-delivery charges.

Delivery or despatch dates are an approximate only and no liability is accepted in respect of late deliveries. We strongly advise that you do not arrange installation of the items until after they have been delivered and checked.

All technical information, advice and measurements given prior to installation are given for planning purposes only.

Please be aware that goods may need to be delivered in installments.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Payment

We accept Debit cards, Visa and Mastercard as well as cash purchases. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, or over our secure internet server. All orders have to be paid in full with cleared funds before they can be dispatched.

Full payment is required in advance to commence manufacturing of bespoke goods. Deposits may be accepted at Livinghouse’s discretion. All deposits are non-refundable.

We reserve the right to make adjustments to the price to take into account of any increase in our suppliers prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order.

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are processed via a secure serve they are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee

We guarantee that the goods shall at the date of delivery to you be free from defects in workmanship and materials. All goods are guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months and in some cases the guarantees are extended upto a lifetime which will be shown in the product descriptions. Please contact us if you are not entirely satisfied with your order.

All guarantees are limited to product replacement or refund of monies paid limited to total cost of product purchase price only.

Livinghouse will offer tecnical advice on any of its products but the final decision of product suitability is the responsibilty of the client and the installer.

Privacy Policy

Livinghouse do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when required as part of the process of fulfilling the order. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.
Data collected by this site is used to
a) Take and fulfill customers orders.
b) Administer and enhance the site and service.
c) Only disclose information to third parties for goods delivery purposes.

Returns Policy

If for whatever reason you wish to return your product, you must do so within 14 working days of the delivery date. This is your right under the Consumer Contracts Regulation 2014. Please note Business to Business contracts are not covered under this Regulation. Please contact Livinghouse for Business Ts & Cs. A returns form must be filled in prior to return which is available via email or fax from our sales office 01722 415000 .It is the customers responsibility to return purchases through their chosen courier. The goods must be in the condition they were received, in the original boxing and with the packaging intact. The customer will be liable for the dispatch and return costs . Above condition does not apply to orders that have been placed that are deemed to be customised, bespoke or made to order and special order non stock lines these are non returnable unless they are proven to be faulty or damaged, in these cases they will be repaired to good condition if unable to repair an offer of refund of monies or supply of replacement will be made

If you wish to return damaged or incorrectly supplied goods then you must inform us in writing via fax or email within 3 days from the date of delivery. You must report inherent defects in the goods to us in writing via fax or email within 7 days from the date of delivery. Where we have received notification within the correct deadline then we (at your option) replace or exchange the goods or refund the price of the item.

If the goods are faulty, incorrect or damaged on delivery we will meet the cost of the return ( but we ask to nominate the returning carrier) and we will refund the price paid for the goods including delivery charges.

Please ensure in both of the above situations that the item is securely wrapped and protected for transit. Failure to do so will mean that we will deduct our recovery costs from any refund we owe you.

Once we have received and verified the returned goods we will initiate the refund, replacement or exchange. Please note from the date of return that we endevour to initiate a refund within 7 working days but please allow up to 21 days.

This policy is in addition to any statutory rights that you may have as a consumer, which remain unaffected.

We are unable to accept any items which have missing parts or damage unless otherwise informed after inspection of the items on delivery within 3 working days. No claims can be made for damaged or missing items once the courier has left the delivery address unless signed for as 'damaged' or 'missing'.

Other Terms

We will not be liable in contract ,tort, or for pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent misrepresentations) or otherwise for:
1) Any economic losses ( including without limitation loss of revenues,profits,contracts,business or anticipated savings ); or
2) Any loss of goodwill or reputation; or
3)Any special or indirect losses; suffered or incurred by any party arising out of or in connection with any use of the website.Nothing in the conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our servants or employees.
4) Any advice or recommendation given by us or our employees or agents to you or your employees or agents as to storage, application or use of the goods which is not confirmed in writing by us is followed or acted upon entirely at your own risk,and accordingly we shall not be liable for any such advice or recommendation which is not confirmed.

We cannot guarantee that the appearance/ and or colours of goods shown on this site exactly reproduces the appearance and or colours of the goods themselves,this can vary according to the resolution and type of computer screen viewed from. All sizes quoted are approximates.

No refunds will be considered if already installed unless proven to be faulty. Faulty goods must be made available for collection in their original condition.

We cannot be held responsible for genuine pricing errors if an item has mistakenly priced too low you will be informed of the new price and given the opportunately to cancel

The conditions shall be govered by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

Statutory rights; Where you are a consumer as defined by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014 your statutory rights are not affected by the conditions. Business to Business sales are not covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014.
