Designed for wet rooms and walk-in showers, this minimalist shower screen provides a simple way to create a generous showering area without enclosing the space with doors and additional framing. It works particularly well in larger bathrooms, open-plan wet rooms and walk-in shower layouts where a clean, unobstructed appearance is preferred.
The panel is manufactured from substantial 10mm toughened safety glass and supplied with finely polished micro-bevelled edges and surface-mounted wall channels as standard. Screens up to and including 1000mm wide do not require a stabilising bar, allowing an especially clean and minimal installation. Screens over 1000mm wide are supplied with a stabilising bar to provide the additional support required for the larger glass panel.
A choice of six glass options allows the screen to be tailored to the style and level of privacy required:
Clear glass is the standard option and provides a simple, completely transparent appearance that keeps the bathroom feeling light and open.
Low iron glass has a much lower iron content than conventional clear glass, greatly reducing the slight green tint normally visible through the glass and particularly along its edges. This gives the screen an exceptionally clear, almost colourless appearance and works particularly well with pale stone, marble and light-coloured bathrooms.
Satin etched glass provides a softly frosted appearance which diffuses light while giving considerably more privacy than clear glass. It is a good choice where privacy is important but you still want the shower area to remain bright.
Privacy strip glass combines clear glass with an obscured privacy section, reducing direct visibility through part of the screen without making the entire panel opaque. This provides a useful middle ground between fully clear and fully satin glass.
Tinted grey glass introduces a subtle smoky grey tone to the shower screen. It gives the glass more presence within the room and suits contemporary bathrooms with darker tiles, black fittings, concrete effects and cooler neutral finishes.
Tinted bronze glass has a warmer coloured tint, making it particularly effective alongside bronze, brass, copper and other warm metallic finishes, as well as natural stone and warmer bathroom colour schemes.
The standard glass height is 2000mm, with bespoke widths and heights also available for bathrooms requiring a made-to-measure screen.
Please note that screens ordered with copper or polished bronze fittings are supplied with a glass height of 1900mm.
