Specially designed for operation in steam rooms and saunas, this high-performance extractor fan is capable of operating at temperatures of up to 140°C and in 100% humidity.
The body, vane and back are manufactured from a high temperature engineering plastic capable of withstanding temperatures up to 200°C, allowing the fan to be safely mounted directly within the steam room or sauna.
Its double insulated electric motor and high temperature double encapsulated ball bearings provide exceptionally quiet, maintenance-free operation and guarantee over 30,000 hours of reliable performance, whether installed horizontally or vertically.
Available in a choice of white or anthracite grey/black, the fan kit includes a non-return backdraught shutter that prevents steam escaping when the fan is switched off.
This improves energy efficiency and helps your steam generator operate more economically.
Designed for use with 100mm ducting, the extractor provides effective steam extraction over straight duct runs of up to 2 metres.
For longer duct runs, we recommend our 230V in-line steam extractors.
Please note, Ducting is not included and the 12V extractor fan is supplied without an integral switch, so an external switch or timer must be supplied and fitted separately.
