Spring is here and there\u2019s another show on the horizon. Last\u00a0month all the buzz was around Mobile di Salone in Milan but next week will everyone be talking about the May Design Series<\/a> at Excel in London? We reckon so.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Anyone who is anyone<\/strong><\/p>\n

Anyone who is in the trade \u2013 that\u2019s designers and suppliers and other interested parties \u2013 will be looking around to see what\u2019s the latest in furniture, lighting, decorating and three of the most important rooms of the house \u2013 the kitchen, the bedroom and the bathroom.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In this last section of rooms, there will be 120 different brands exhibiting from more than 16 countries which should mean a good selection of what\u2019s available. This will include the \u2018best of British\u2019 and lots of new innovations in the different areas.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Suppliers and manufacturers from as far as China will be there and when it comes to bathrooms, you can expect to see everything from sleek bathroom suites to steam rooms and spas.<\/p>\n

There\u2019ll be some classics, some unusual and some very contemporary designs on show including:<\/p>\n

Looking at future trends<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be a section of the show dedicated to looking at forthcoming trends for 2016<\/a>. This will include predictions for colours, materials and more that we will see everywhere in 2016. This is a favourite part of the exhibition for those wishing to keep ahead of the rest.<\/p>\n

You can also expect reports from \u2018The Best of Britain\u2019 design as we mentioned earlier plus Designer Makers and the new student designs; this is part of a collaboration with New Bucks University.<\/p>\n

So keep an eye on the interior design magazines, blogs and social media for information during and after the show on 17th<\/sup> \u2013 19th<\/sup> May. Of course if you qualify as a trade visitor you can book you \u2018ticket\u2019 online now.<\/p>\n
