Conversion of an Existing Non Hotel Building to Hotel Use –\u00a0<\/strong>Speicher 7, Mannheim,\u00a0by Schmucker und Partner<\/h4>\n

The Speicher 7 Hotel<\/a> is\u00a0located on the waterfront of the river Rhine. A disused warehouse and grain silo; the building maintains many of its original features, helping it to integrate into the local landscape, while breathing new life into this neglected area.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The Bulgari brand is known for luxury and glamour, so of course the Bulgari Hotel<\/a> reflects this. Lavish use of precious marble and silver blend harmoniously in an understated elegance.<\/p>\n

The Alpina Gstaad<\/a>\u00a0takes the alpine styling of a Swiss chalet to a new level with great attention to detail.\u00a0The hotel\u2019s design makes use of materials and craftsmanship typical to the region, including centuries-old timber crafted by master artisans.<\/p>\n

Caf\u00e9 or All Day Dining –\u00a0<\/strong>25hours Hotel, Zurich West, by\u00a0Alfredo H\u00e4berli Design Development<\/h4>\n

The 25hours Hotel<\/a>\u00a0describe their\u00a0NENI restaurant as “a caf\u00e9, lounge, bistro and relaxed hangout.” The dining area is supposed to feel “part lounge, part restaurant, part bar, and part living room.” This bold space, with its artistic and graphical styling, matches the sensibilities of its guests.<\/p>\n

Restaurant –\u00a0<\/strong>Plum & Spilt Milk Restaurant at The Great Northern Hotel, London, by\u00a0Archer Humphryes Architects<\/h4>\n

The Plum & Spilt Milk<\/a>\u00a0takes its name from the livery of the dining cars that adorned\u00a0the flying Scotsman in the iconic railway age. Head chef Mark Sargeant serves\u00a0British classics, with British ingredients. The vintage yet modern d\u00e9cor matches this menu, and the nods to luxury rail travel fit well with its\u00a0views over St Pancras station.<\/p>\n

Bedrooms & Bathrooms – The Alpina, Gstaad,\u00a0by The Gallery HBA London<\/h4>\n

The second award for The Alpina focuses on the subtly luxurious guestrooms, which overlook the glacial mountains and alpine meadows.\u00a0The bedrooms are beautifully crafted;\u00a0clad in reclaimed alpine timber with unique carved ceilings.\u00a0They continue the theme of a modern, luxurious Swiss chalet.<\/p>\n

Suite – The Oslo Suite at The Thief, Oslo, by Anemone Wille V\u00e4ge<\/h4>\n

The Oslo Suite at The Thief<\/a> hotel boasts\u00a0has spectacular views of the neighbouring Tjuvholmen district. These can be enjoyed from the suite\u2019s private roof terrace, which has exclusive furniture designed by Patricia Urquiola and Antonio Citterio.<\/p>\n

Spa, Health & Leisure Facilities – Castell dels Hams, Mallorca, by\u00a0A2arquitectos<\/h4>\n
