Space and Energy Saving Toilet Concept

‘B-Side’ by ACT Studio is a neatly combined wash basin and toilet in one. The idea is that the basin and toilet share both water and space.

The toilet’s flush reuses the ‘grey water’ from the basin, meaning a greatly reduced water bill.

The basin can sit above the toilet bowl, or pivot to the side. This could be ideal for public toilets, as there would be no need for a separate area for sink space, so more toilets could fit into one area. And with as many basins as toilets, there’s no excuse for not washing your hands!

What do you think of this concept? Would you like to see basin/WCs like these at a venue near you?
