Queen Antique Oak engineered wood flooring is prefinished with a distressed oil, producing an authentic antique wooden floor finish. This engineered wood floor has a 6mm solid Oak top layer that is bonded onto a 14mm plywood timber backing making this an extremely stable wooden floor. Because this wooden floor has added stability over a solid wood floor it can be installed over underfloor heating, laid directly to existing concrete and timber subfloors and with a 20mm total thickness this engineered floor is also suitable to span flooring joists. We can supply our Queen Antique Oak flooring in the individual widths of 150mm, 200mm and 260mm and with a choice of a random width floor. Something else that should be taken into account, due to the 6mm thickness of the top hardwood wear layer this engineered wooden flooring has the same longevity as a solid wood floor, but without the stability issues.
